I completed my Bsc in life science (DU) and MSC in Dietetics and food service management (IGNOU). Am I eligible for CSIR NET in home science or life sciences or both?
Hey Young Mind!!
There are three main factors which determine the eligibility criteria of CSIR NET, the Age should not exceed 28 years, the Nationality must be Indian, and the Educational Qualification is that
-
Candidates from general (UR) / general-EWS and OBC must hold an M.Sc. or equivalent degree / Integrated BS-MS / BS-4 years / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharma / MBBS with at least 55% marks in order to be eligible for CSIR UGC NET.
-
Candidates who are currently enrolled in an M.Sc. course or have completed their graduation are also eligible for CSIR UGC NET 2021 under Result Awaited (RA) category given that they complete their degree with the required scores within two years.
So yes you are eligible for the Life sciences exam.
Good luck!!!
