I completed my education in Maharashtra.Iam resident in Karnataka and my father is a government employee of Karnataka state.Can I apply for KCET???
The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in KCET is that an applicant should have successfully passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following as the additional subject Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer and with english with 45% marks(general) and 40% marks (reserved).
Other than that its important to know that you are further eligible if you have completed your studies in Karnataka Government or Recognized institutions for a minimum period of seven years from class I to class XII.

One of your parent must have to completed their studies in Karnataka state for a minimum period of seven years.
Since you mentioned your father work for Karnataka government and for that the criteria is :
Children of serving or retired employees of the Union Government or employees of Union or Karnataka State Government Undertaking or Joint Sector Undertaking where the employee had mentioned to the employer at the time of joining service that his/her domicile was any place in Karnataka or had studied in any recognised educational institute or institutions in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years; and was or is liable to be transferred to any part of India according to the terms and conditions of his employment. It is imperative for the candidates (in such a case) to have cleared the qualifying exam from a University or Board or any other institution located in any part of India.
