No, there will be no problem if your surname is not written in your high school and intermediate certificates. But you will have to mention your name without your surname in all relevant academic exams, forms for driving license, PAN card, passport etc.

However no problem will ever arise without your surname in any document in future.

Hello student no you'll not face any difficulties if you don't have surname on your academic documents but make sure you've the same name on all the documents from class 10 onwards. As if you've surname on class 10  documents and now you remove it you might face difficulties.
