I dont know how to fill in CAP round i mean should I select every college according to my preferred branch irrespective of college ?

That depends on you, what you consider to be important, the college or the branch. If you are highly interested in a branch or two, then you can prefer branch before college otherwise you can fill mutiple branches for one college according to the colleges' ranks.
