The categories A, B, and C of pg seats exist in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state.
Out of 1108 seats in Hyderabad, Medical and Dental seats in private non- minority Medical and Dental colleges are divided into categories A, B, and C with an allocation of 729, 67, and 312 seats respectively to these categories.
A category seats are filled by KNR University of Health Sciences, Warangal under convener quota. Their fee is the least among the three categories that is Rs7.75 - Rs7 lakhs.
B category seats are Management quota seats. They are filled by private college Managements as per Government provisions. The fee is fixed between Rs23 - 24 lakhs.
C category seats constitute the remaining 312 seats. These are called the NRI quota seats. These are also filled by private college Managements. Fee is maximum among the three categories, which is fixed around 72 lakhs.
The previous year's cutoff for the orthopedic seat was as
1. 2018: General rank: 4703 ; SC rank: 17043; ST rank: 32738; OBC rank: 3527
2. 2019: General cutoff rank: 5759
So according to the above statistic, you can predict the orthopedic seat general cutoff rank to be between 6k - 7k.
