To be eligible to take the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) in India, you need to pass your class 12 examinations with specific marks in the required subjects. For the general category, you need to score at least 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined. The NEET 2024 exam is out of a total of 720 marks. These marks are divided into 360 for Biology, 180 for Physics, and 180 for Chemistry. each section-Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Zoology-can be passed with a total score of 140+40=180. Each of the 180 marks for the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology sections is combined with the 360 marks for Biology NEET eligibility marks in 12th are crucial for candidates aiming to appear for the exam. For General category students, a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology is required. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum is 40%, and for PwD candidates, it is 45 percent The format for NEET exam is a total of 180 question with total 720 marks. Four marks will be awarded for a right answer and one mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. The questions will be objective type that is MCQ based
