For NEET, if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category. So please check the central list of OBC to see whether your Category falls under Central OBC list. Secondly, reshuffling of Categories do happen. Few Communities listed under General are moved into OBC Categories. So there are chances that those Communities which might have been listed under General Category might have been moved to OBC. In such case, the most recent Category will be considered and the relevant certificate needs to b e produced to claim benefits of that Category, if any. So for example, if your Community comes under OBC, and you have OBC certificate, that is fine. You can use that to claim OBC benefits. That should not be a problem. Just make sure that you have the Original copy with you during the Counselling process.
