Hi.

No, you are not eligible for neet examination with 21 marks in bio theory

This is because,

As per, Neet eligibility criteria ,you need to pass 12th with Biology . But you have failed in biology theory with 21 marks, and when you fail in theory , you fail in that subject i. e you have failed in biology and thus, failed to fulfil the very criteria of passing biology in order to be eligible in neet . So, you are not eligible for neet examination as to be eligible you should have passed in both theory and practical examination.

For your reference,

Neet eligibility criteria is provided below:-

-----------) As per, Neet  eligibility criteria to be eligible you must be either appearing for 12th board examination  or should have  passed 12th board examination with    PCB( pass in both theory and practical individually)   and English and must have got:-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

-----------)  Age limit :-

  • Lower age limit:- to be eligible for neet  one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December in the year of appearing for the examination .

  • Upper age limit :-The upper age limit  is 25 years as on the date of neet examination and there's relaxation of 5 years for obc ncl/SC/ST /PwBD students means upper age limit is 30 years for these categories.

†††† But since 2018, the case of upper age limit is pending in supreme court , and so there's no upper age limit as of now until supreme court gives its judgement over it.

Ashy For cbse board and most of the board pass marks is 23 marks ( i. e 33 % ) out of 70 in theory , but if you are from a board where pass marks is 21 .
Then yes, you are definitely eligible for neet provided you meet rest of the criteria

The eligibility condition for the course of NEET is

in class 12 to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects

  • UR - 50%,

  • OBC/SC/ST - 40%,

  • PWD - 45%

So if you have PCB aggregate score greater or equal to 50% then you are definitely eligible for the examination of NEET.
