I am here to inform you that you do stand a chance in getting mechanical in kiit although if we go by the recent year cutoffs it has been around 12000 but mechanical and civil branch is witnessing a signifiacnt decrease in cutoff in all the colleges is that what my experience say, so you can surely give it a try.All the Best.
