Candidates will have to qualify the eligibility criteria for the NEET 2020, before applying for any AYUSH programme. As per the eligibility criteria;
Candidates should have cleared class 12 board examinations in the stream of science with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology Along with English from CBSE or any other recognised state board.
Candidates who are currently appearing for class 12 board examinations will also be eligible for the exam, however, they will need to present the passing certificates with the required percentage, in the specified subjects.
Candidates will need to ensure that they have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 50% (for General Category) in the qualifying exam. Candidates from reserved categories will be offered relaxations as per the government guidelines.
For candidates who fall under SC/ST/OBC category and PwD category in SC/ST/OBC will need to ensure that they have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 40%
Candidates belonging to General Category but also in PwD category will be required to have a minimum aggregate score of 45% in the qualifying exam.
Candidates will also be offered state-quota reservation as well, for those who appear for NEET in their respective domicile states.
