In counselling, the HS (Home State Quota) and OS (Other State) plays a vital role.

Last year's closing rank for CSE branch in NIT Mizoram for general category was 37003 ( for OS) and 893551 ( for HS). So by last year's statistics you can get NIT Mizoram.

Now, last year's closing rank for Electrical Engineering branch in NIT Agartala for general category was 32380 (OS) and 181451 (HS). So, here also you can have a seat.

But, this also will depend upon the seat matrix of both these college.

Yes you will get CSE in nit Mizoram according to last year cut offs but difficult to get admission in nit Agartala with outside state quota.

With home state quota you will get any if the two .

But there can be this and that ( means actually it will depend upon the exact situation nd other students choices and preferences.).

The cutoff rnk for the NIT Mizorm in the computer science branch was 18900 for the OS quota and 218120 for the HS quota for the general category. If you apply through the Home state quota then you will not get the CSE branch and it is possible if you apply through the OS other state quota. The cutoff marks for the electrical in agrtala were 181451 for the home state and 32380 for the other state. So as per your rank there are the chances of getting the NIT agartala for electrical branch.
