I got 300 I have 40% disability iam pwd can I get mbbs
Hello Aspirant,
See it depends upon the type of disability because thereare various kind of disabilities such as Visual disability/mental/hearing or some other kinds of disability. In some disabilities if the candidate is having more than or equal to 40% disability then he/she is not considered eligible for medical courses but in some cases they are allowed to get admission under PwD quota.
For e.g. if you have visual disability of 40% then you will not be eligible for admission to medical course until and unless you satisfies the conditions that says "Person with Visual Disability of more than or equal to 40% may be made eligible to pursue MBBS course and may be given reservation, subject tot he condition that the visual disability is brought to a level of less than the benchmark of 40% with advanced low vision aids such as telescopes/magnifier, etc."
