Firstly they consider GATE qualifying candidates and then they select on the basis of merit ranks.Only few seats are available for AP PGCET candidates. According to your rank ,you have pretty good chances of getting a seat at JNTU Kakinda in biotechnology. But the seats are limited i.e approx 20 . So your further admission will be decided on factors like how many candidates are applying for the course , seats intake , ranks and previous year trends. But don't worry go for counselling and you will get clearance.
