I got 49% in 12th PCB. Now I'm 2nd year chem honours student. Will I have problem ahead with this 49% marks?
Hello dear,
49% percentage in 12th don't affect your future...focuse on your skills and interests...That will give you better result.
Hey Aspirant, 49% score in 10+2 is considered very low. But if you manage to get a considerable score in your chemistry honours course you may outshadow your previous performance and thus it won't reflect much about your capabilities.
You can improve your personality and other things so that people may not consider your 12th score as a standard of judgement.
But you are not eligible to give certain government exams with this much low percentage like banking.
Hope you will understand.
The problem will rise if you go for govt. Exams which requires 12th percentage more then 49%. But if you wanted to go for higher studies then Their will be no problem at all, because they only required ug percentage the criteria for appearing any pg entrance is Candidates not having Major/Honours courses, must have the concerned degree with a minimum 50% aggregate marks or 5.5 CPI in a 10-point scale for General/OBC category candidates and a minimum 45% aggregate marks or 5.0 CPI in a 10-point scale for SC/ST/PD category candidates.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck.
