JEE Main result is published in terms of percentile/NTA score. If you have scored 52 percentile based on our JEE Main Rank Predictor Tool the expected rank is going to be in between 491040 - 552000. . With such rank it is very difficult to get seat in a decent NIT. To have decent chances of getting seat in a NIT you need to score minimum 97 percentile or above if you belong to general category, if you belong to OBC-NCL category you need to score minimum 95 percentile or above and if you belong to SC/ST category you need to score minimum 92 percentile or above.
Assuming that you belong to general category as you have not mentioned your category, considering the previous year qualifying cut off percentile you may not qualify in JEE Main. The qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main 2020 was as follows
