There are a number of entrance exams held across India for admissions into various government and private colleges.

1. JEE MAINS: it's eligibility criteria States a minimum of 75% must be secured in class 12 and a minimum of 65% for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category.

2. BITSAT: A minimum of 75% marks must be there in class 12 to be eligible for the exam.

3. VITEEE: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% in PCM and a minimum of 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC category.

4. MHTCET: Candidates should have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% in PCM and a minimum of 45% for SC/ST/OBC category.

5. UPSEE:  Candidates should have passed class 12 with a minimum of 45% in PCM or with 40% for SC/ST/OBC category.

6. KIITEE: All applicants should have passed their+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM.

Few other exams are also there like WBJEE ( West Bengal), KCET ( Karnataka), AP EAMCET ( Andhra Pradesh), but you will need domicile of that particular state. .

You can consider going for colleges like Manipal Institute of technology or any of the top 10 colleges in Bangalore provided you clear their entrance exams, to get admission in Manipal your rank in the Manipal's entrance test should be below 500, where for top 10 colleges of Bangalore try to keep your rank below 1000.
