There are a number of entrance exams held across India for admissions into various government and private colleges.
1. JEE MAINS: it's eligibility criteria States a minimum of 75% must be secured in class 12 and a minimum of 65% for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category.
2. BITSAT: A minimum of 75% marks must be there in class 12 to be eligible for the exam.
3. VITEEE: Candidates should have secured a minimum of 60% in PCM and a minimum of 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC category.
4. MHTCET: Candidates should have passed class 12 with a minimum of 50% in PCM and a minimum of 45% for SC/ST/OBC category.
5. UPSEE: Candidates should have passed class 12 with a minimum of 45% in PCM or with 40% for SC/ST/OBC category.
6. KIITEE: All applicants should have passed their+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM.
Few other exams are also there like WBJEE ( West Bengal), KCET ( Karnataka), AP EAMCET ( Andhra Pradesh), but you will need domicile of that particular state. .
