I got 59% marks in 12th boards and i belong to OBC category. Can i pursue admission in AIIMS?

Yes you are eligible.

The selection procedure is based on the merit of the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam

The academic qualifications required to be eligible for AIIMS are listed below:

  • Candidates must have passed class 12thexamination or equivalent from any recognized board
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English must be main subjects in class 12th examination.
  • A minimum score of 60% for General Category and Other Backwards Castes and 50% for SC/ST is required.

The minimum aggregate of the marks secured in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained in the qualifying examination for various categories are as follows: General and OBC candidates – 60% SC/ST candidates – 50% PwD candidates - 45% so you can make it.
