I got 72.2 in my 12 th with non medical cbsc so what are the available courses for that I can apply in DU

Hello Harsh!

This year there are around 12 courses in Delhi University, the mode of admission in which is through entrance examinations. These courses are:

  • B.A (Hons) Music- eligibility criteria: the candidate must pass class 12th with Music as an elective subject
  • B.Tech (IT and Mathematical Innovations)- eligibility criteria: an aggregate of 60% marks in class 12th in the best for subjects
  • B.A (Hons) Multimedia and Mass Communication- only for female candidates
  • B.Sc in Physical Education, Health Education & Sports- eligibility criteria: an aggregate of 45% marks in class 12th boards including 1language and 3 best subjects
  • Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed)- eligibility criteria: minimum 50% aggregate marks in class 12th as well as 50% in the four subjects specified by the university
  • B.A (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences- eligibility criteria: a minimum aggregate marks in class 12th as mentioned below:-


-General category : 60 % in four subjects (including English/MIL)

-OBC category : 54% in four subjects (including English/MIL)

-PH/ CW category : 57% in four subjects (including English/MIL)

-SC/ST category : Passing marks (including English/MIL)

  • B.A (Hons) Business Economics- eligibility criteria: minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 12th, english/mathematics in class 12th
  • BBA (Financial Investment Analysis)- eligibility criteria: minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 12th, english/mathematics in class 12th
  • BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies)- eligibility criteria: minimum 60% aggregate marks in class 12th, english/mathematics in class 12th
  • B.P.Ed- eligibility criteria: a minimum of 50% marks in class 12th, including Physical Education
  • B.Ed- eligibility criteria: candidate will have to select a subject in which he/she must have scored 50% marks in class 12th. There is a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks for OBC category. For SC/ST/PWD category, candidate must only successfully pass in class 12th.
  • Five Year Integrated Course in Journalism (English)- eligibility criteria: an aggregate of 50% marks in all the 5 subjects in class 12th


The general eligibility criteria in for the admission in University of Delhi include:

-The qualifying exam for the admission in Delhi University to the first year Undergraduate programmes is the class 12th CBSE Board Examinations or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

- There is no age limit for the same.
