Hello Priya,
Panjab University grants admission to students to various courses through different mediums. Admission to some courses is based on merit while admission to others is based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by the University.
The University also conducts Group Discussion/ Personal Interview/ Counseling rounds for final selection of the candidates. These rounds take place after candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the marks scored in the Entrance Exam conducted by the Panjab University or after the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit.
And the cut-off percentage is mentioned already above.

Ma'am.i want to knew more about the pu entrance exam.it's a compulsory for all students for taking admission in panjab university.i am little bit worried now
