Sorry to say you but your rank is not too good you just only qualify the exam. But if you wait for the spot round of counseling that is also known as csab round then there is chances for getting north eastern nit with lower branch. Otherwise you can go for state government college. Here I am sharing you a link that will help you for predicting your college.

Hello Aspirant,
According to the rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the good NITs as per previous year's cut-offs but yes you can try for some lower NITs if you deserve home state quota for them. If not then I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.
Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
So you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
It's tough to tell you about your admission possibilities in any college since Cutoff vary every year based on various factors but as per you JEE Main rank getting into IITs, NITs would be really tough for you. You should try for state level counseling like Odisha, Maharashtra, MP etc where you might get admission in state government colleges.
You'll be able to get into some good private Engineering colleges/universities in top branches like CSE and IT etc.
To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main college Predictor tool.
