firstly I want to clarify you that your score of JEE main is not bad but you missed from  0.1 percentile for having 89 percentile but still it is a good score and on this score I think you can have good college in IPU but it is difficult to predict now because it is very first time when IPU is taking admission on the basis of JEE main score and what I think by this score you may  have good college in IPU and if we consider IPU admission policies so they will  give first priority to their main entrance exam IPU CET and then they will go through jee mains score so probably  you can have some relaxation  here so be free from stress take it easy because" life has abundant of opportunities if you miss one out of them then another is waiting for you" for more querries you can upvote me and

With 88 percentile it would be difficult to get into NIT. You can try for IIIT. But you have very good chance of getting admission into centrally funded university.

But their are so many state run university which accept JEE main score. And their are private university also which take under main score like LPU
