Hello,

Congratulations for your achievement.

It’s difficult to tell you the exact about your admission possibilities but as per the

previous year cutoff as a general category the chance seems less to get a seat in NITs,

IIITs & GFTIs however you can try for state counseling like Punjab, Haryana, MP, Etc.

To know your admission chances in JOSSA & State counseling you can use JEE Main

college Predictor tool.

You can go through the links below for getting the correct details.

Hello,

You can calculate your rank with the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100 where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session so by this your expected rank will be around 40843 and your category rank will be in between 10000-13000. You have not mentioned your state. Assuming that you belong to other state, In 2019 the cut off for other state OBC-NCL category was as follows

  • Biotechnology: 9954
  • Chemical: 5779
  • Civil: 4937
  • CSE: 660
  • ECE: 1815
  • Mech: 2964
  • MME: 7755
  • EEE: 2480

According to the previous year cut off you may not get seat. However, cut off is subjected to change. It may increase or decrease slightly.

Hello student you can calculate and get your rank easily by using this formula.
100 - (your total percentile) 869010 /100
In your case your rank must be around - 40,843
Cut off vary every year on various factors like the level of question in the entrance examination and total number of applicants in that examination. With this rank its difficult to get admission in NIT Wranglar as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank.
Last year the cut off was 9954.
So if you've appear in Jee main July examination and score good you might get a seat.
