engineering is costly everywhere. in UP engineering fees is between 120000-150000 in best private colleges and in Karnataka too. but if you want cse you should go to Bangalore side since it is the cse hub of India. most of software companies are in Bangalore side so go there but for core branches you can choose both as both are good.
