I got a seat through round 1 of state quota. But I didn't get a seat through AIQ 1st round and didn't apply for AIQ 2nd round. Can I still apply for Mop up round for AIIMS 2020? I am from Assam State Quota

You haven't mentioned whether you have taken up the seat allotted in Round 1 of your State Quota. If you have taken up that seat but you want to forfeit that seat in favour of a seat in All India Counselling, please exercise your options carefully so that you do not have to forfeit your security deposit. You can still apply for Mop Up round of All India Counseling.Mop Up round is nothing but the round in which the vacant seats of Deemed Universities/Central Universities/ AIIMS/ JIPMER/ ESIC are filled up. The left over seats of Government Medical Colleges are transferred to the respective States and so no GMC participates in Mop Up Round. Eligible Candidates for Mop Up round:

1. Candidates who registered for Round 1 and opted for Free exit

2. Candidates who registered in Round 2 and exited with forfeiture of fees

3. Candidates who did not register for Round 1 or Round 2,

4. Candidates who registered either for Round 1 or Round 2 but did not get a seat
