You need to clear all your backlogs before you apply for CAT 2018 exam. A candidate has to be graduate with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in order to be eligible to apply for CAT. Final year graduation students can also apply for the exam if they fulfil the eligibility criteria. So, if you have any backlogs, you won’t be able to apply.
