I got chemistry 5years at iit kharagpur in 4thround.. Will I get any decent btech branch.. Wth SC rank 2268 at same IIT in coming rounds?

There is no chance of getting better branch at the same IIT with this much rank in your category but you should wait for further rounds may be you would get a better branch. Based on previous trends there is less possibility. Visit the following link for more information on previous years allotment:

You can also change your branch after 1st year according to your choice. You have to fulfill some conditions like scoring a required a percentin 1st year.

You can get a engineering branch in IIT kharagpur or any other college just keep on waiting for the next round and apply on them and hope for the best maybe you can get a good branch also .

- U can change your branch after first year of you have a good cgpa after first year
- So better take any engineering branch and maintain a good cgpa
- Choose college according to your interest rather than choosing stream according to college
