You cannot transfer University. There is no option of transfering Universities i.e, you cannot change your college from GCE Salem to GCT Coimbatore. You can only change your branch after the 1st year, if you are eligible to do so by getting CGPA  more than the cutoff CGPA set. But there is no provision of university change.
