You are alloted in a okay option.But if you arenot too much happy then you can go for the CSAB special round. But keep in mind that if you get a seat in CSAB special round you have to take that seat , its a must condition. Otherwise you will be college less.Its necessary to take the seat alloted in special round.BEST of luck!!

Well, if you opt for the dual course of IT in iitm Gwalior academically, you get to study some extra courses which are not included in a 4 year BTech in most of the universities. Moreover, you get an extra year for the preparation of university related competitions like GSoC, ICPC, TGMC etc.

In terms of placements, it doesn't have too much effect. IIITM is still one of the finest research institute in India. You can get involved in some quality research (if you want) both in MTech as well as BTech Projects.

Overall, the college is good if yiu wabt to join then you can go for it!!! But still you will be eligible to participate in the special round by CSAB 2019... There is nothing to do with whether you have been allotted a seat or not!!!!!
