Both NIT Jaipur and NIT Jalandhar are amongst the top 10 NITs and both are very good colleges in terms of every aspect. The choice here depends on the fact that whether you give preference to branch or college and towards which branch you are more inclined as per your interest. This should determine your choice. Acc.  to me it actually depends on your choice or interest beacuse some student prefer college over branch and remaining prefer branch over college..If you have a high interest in computers, then give preference to branch over college because many student prefer college and think he/she able to change branch in 2nd year of b.tech but branch change in any NIT is very difficult . If you can't able to chance your branch then you feel regret whole life for giving preference to college over branch.But if you have full confidence in you, and can take this risk then prefer MNIT Jaipur ECE.

No doubt Jaipur city is better than Jalandhar and MNIT have better infrastructure, cultural fest, placement and college life.

But if you are specific with your computer interest and job ,then go for NITJ as placement cells of all NIT'S , CSE always been good for us , and also CSE have more pvt sector jobs then other branches.

So i think lot for your college and branch preference, if you do not have any specific interest in computer science, then prefer better college.
