About NIT Jalandhar
Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar (NITJ), Punjab was established in 1987. Initially it was started as the “Regional Engineering College” and then got the status of “National Institute of Technology” by the Government of India in 2002. NIT Jalandhar has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The courses at NIT Jalandhar include B.E/B. Tech, M.E/M.Tech, M.Sc, M.B.A, and Ph.D.
Candidates applying for admission must meet the eligibility criteria of the desired course. Before applying for admissions at NIT Jalandhar the candidates should appear for the relevant entrance examination, including JEEMain/GATE/JAM/CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT/SAT or equivalent examination and secure a valid score. College Infrastructure
NIT Jalandhar has good infrastructure with well-developed labs and classrooms. There are three hostels for first-year students: BH1, BH2, and BH5. BH1 and BH2 are better than BH5 because the food and facilities are much better in BH1 and BH2, but BH1 and BH2 are four-seater, while BH5 is a two-seater.

The Infrastructure is good all the necessary facilities are there. Classrooms are digital, fully air conditioned as well. Hostels are also big enough for living. Mess is also good as compared to the other NIT's.
