If you get 16k below u will get a good chance in 2nd counselling to get a college better than mrec although mallareddy is a good college.

Malla Reddy Engineering College is overall a good Engineering College. Reviewing a college is done on the basis of several parameters , here I'll mention some:-

Placements : About 50-60% of the students of CSE get placed every year. The highest package offered is about 12 LPA and the lowest package is 2.8 LPA. The average package being nearly 3.6 LPA . College does provide proper training to the students for sitting in interviews. However cracking an interview depends on a student's skills and abilities.

Infrastructure : The college has the best infrastructure. There are smart classrooms which are very spacious. The library and the laboratory facilities are also good. There is enough space for sports and games. The hostel facilities aren't that good though.

Faculties : The faculties of the department are quite experienced . Teaching quality is average. Some teachers are not able to deliver lectures efficiently. Overall teachers are helpful. Course curriculum is a little out-dated. If you mould yourself in the proper way you will industry-ready anyway. You just have to put some extra effort and do some extra courses and lear programming languages.

There are many better colleges if you want to go for better facilities, but if you want to stick to this one you just have to be willing to put some effort for your benefit.
