Fee for candidates who were allocated a seat in NIT/ IIIT/ GFTI in JoSAA paid the seat acceptance fee and opted to participate in a special round Rs. 36,500 for general category

Fee for candidates who were allocated a seat in NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs in JoSAA and paid the seat acceptance fee but did not accept the seat/ cancelled/ surrender/ withdrawn (Seat acceptance paid by candidates in JoSAA shall be adjusted in the special round - Rs. 1,500

And if you got allotted any seat in csab special round and you accept it, then you have not to pay once again the seat acceptance fees, as  you have already paid that in josaa counselling.

But if your josaa seat is cancelled due to non payment of partial admission fees, and you got a seat in csab and you accept it then you have to give the seat acceptance fees of Rs. 35000 ( for general/ews / obc ) or Rs. 15000 ( for sc / st/ pwd).

Csab special round is conducted by central seat allocation board, and this jee mains special round counseling is organized for filling the vacant seats all nits, iiits, or gftis and iiest after josaa counseling.

Now for participating in csab special round counselling for nits, iiits, gftis, candidates must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria for participating in csab special round counseling :-

Candidates must have given JEE Mains by securing a valid rank

Candidates who not allotted any seat in JoSAA or didn't participated in JoSAA counselling or withdrawn his/ her josaa seat or their josaa seat got cancelled, then they can definitely participate in CSAB special round for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs 2020

Also note that, any candidate who got allotted any seat in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs through JoSAA and wants to retain his/her JoSAA seat, can also take part in csab special round counseling.

Now, for participating in csab special round counseling, you must have to pay a registration fees of Rs. 36500 ( for general/ obc ) or Rs. 16500 ( for sc/ st/ pwd).

So, if you withdraw your josaa seat then also you can take part in csab special round counselling.
The registration for csab special round counseling, will start from 17th november 2020 on official site of csab.
