Hey Kavya
It is not marks it is percentile (means your relative score among all other students in your shift)
Like if 10 students appear for exam
Their marks are as follow: 2;3;4;5;6;7;8 ;10;12;13 out of 15
Than student who secure 13 marks have secure 100 percentile and student who secure 7 marks get 60percentile.
60 percentile means number of students score more than you.i.e 40percent
I hope you get what I am saying.
Good luck
