I had done 3 years electronics and communication diploma after 10th standard can I apply for ETO course ? is 12 th or btech is necessary for ETO?

The eligibility criteria is that ,candidates should finished b.tech/12th (PCM)/diploma (60%aggregate).So you can apply for it.

see etc stands for Electro technical officer. the course is offered by many institute and the eligibility criteria differs as per institute wise,
Generally the course is offered by academy of maritime education and training ,
THE eligibility criteria is as follows,
i) Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with minimum 50 % marks in English Language at 10th of 12th standard exam.
ii) Passed three years' Diploma with 60% marks or four year's Degree including lateral entry, with 50% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.
iii) The diploma /degree courses must have been recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE.
iv) Passport is mandatory.
admission is based on entrance test conducts by the institute.
