On the basis of your rank obtained there seems chances of yours to get branches likes Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering if you belong to State Quota.The rank you obtained comes under the closing rank required to get the above mentioned branches in the main campus only if you belong to State Quota.

CSE is a branch which has a wide scope and every year a good amount of placement is seen from these branch.So if you take CSE from other branches then also you have a good future if you put efforts.You can take CSE from other branches as the placement of CSE is good from all the branches.
