Yes, you are eligible for GATE exam. However, one can pursue MTech after successful completion of a BSc degree if the course is of 4-year long duration. But if one has completed BSc with a 3-year undergraduate degree then students need to complete their MSc. first before applying for MTech.

Upto 2021 , ongoing 3rd year student of Undergraduate was not eligible to appear for GATE .. But as of 2022, if you are a student of 3rd year currently or already completed . .. in science branch , yes you are eligible for GATE from 2022 . But, you have to check the detailed paper and it's syllabus from the official portal of GATE 2022 .

GATE qualifications for anything other than Engineering Students

2nd and 3rd MCA students are eligible for GATE.

1st and 2nd year MSc students qualify for GATE based on qualifying qualifications.

BSc. BCA and BCS students (three-year degree) do not qualify for the GATE Examination.

BSc. (Tech), four-year degree, final year students are eligible for the GATE exam.

Integrated B.Tech or BE students are eligible from their third year of integrated degree.

According to rule 4 you can write exam.
