I would suggest you to go for BA. Because BA will provide you with subjects which can be useful to you in examination. BA will also provide you ample amount of time to study for UPSC. Rest is your choice but BA would also have less cut off compared to other courses so you can even get a college which is good. Check out the below link and thanks

Hello student you can do any of these two courses as per your own preferences but BA is more preferable if you're willing to Clear UPSC CSE As the syllabus of BA will help you in UPSC CSE also so you can start your preparation right from your college.

Eligibility - Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university and must be at least 21 year old.

You can choose any one. It is better to go for BSc. There is high scope and you can even do MSc and PhD which will increase your market value.

You can get job at top universities.

On the part of IAS, you have to give UPSC exam. For that any graduate candidate can appear. There is no restriction in terms or branch or degree.

So go for Graduation and after completion. Prepare and qualify UPSC to become IAS.
