I have English as a additional subject so am I eligible for aiims and jipmer 2020
NEET ELIGIBILITY:
- Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
- No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
- You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
- 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
- NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible
IMPORTANT DATES:
Registration Dates: 2nd to 31st December, 2019
Downloading of Admit Cards: 27th March, 2020
Date of Examination: 3rd May, 2020
Date of Announcing Result: 4th June, 2020
Hello dear student,
You just need to have english as a subject it doesn't matter if it's additional or compulsory. So dear student yes you are eligible for neet if you ask as you have English as a subject. While if you are a general category student you should must have marks above 50% as a aggregate in physics, chemistry, biology . While if you belong from reserved category then 40% is required as said above.
And dear student now AIIMS and JIPMER have been scrapped off from the shelves now only one exam will be conducted by NTA that is neet ug and no other exam will be conducted. I hope this was clear to you
