The validity of the EWS certificate is one year from the date it has been issued. So if your EWS certificate is dated December 12th, 2019, it is good enough for the next 1 year starting from December 17th, 2019. So it us good until December 16th, 2020 there by making it valid for the Academic year 20-21. But you need to get it renewed as soon as it expires.
