NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
So you need not to worry about the number of attempts..
Good luck..
Hi!
It won’t be counted as an attempt if you don’t attend the exam. You don’t have to worry considering there is no limit on the number of attempts.
Hope this answers your question!

It really doesn't count make there is no limit on the number of attempts you make for the exam.
Based on the eligibility criteria for NEET 2018, the limit on the number of attempts to answer has been removed. This means that you can attempt NEET examination more than three times.
However, the criteria that has been re-introduced this year is the age limit.
The lower age limit is 17 years of age and upper limit for 25 years for Unreserved category and 30 years for Reserved Category.
This means that you can attempt 9 times for NEET Examination if you belong to GENERAL CATEGORY or 14 times if you belong to RESERVED CATEGORY.
So, basically, you need not be worried about the limitations of attempts. You should definitely answer this time, even if you don't feel prepared. Atleast, you will have an experience of answering a National Level Examination. Continue to work hard. All the very Best!
