I have got 50000 rank in wbjee and I am a general merit student so which colleges should I choose during counseling for btech from cse

Getting any good college with this rank is impossible.
There are some private college which may accept your rank for cse like Techno university which is a new college.
Last year closing rank of this College for cse was 47k so you have some chance for this College.
There are other colleges too .
.Moreover if you are very interested to take cse than you can also go for management quota in some private engineering college.

Hello student,
WBJEE has no certain cut-off marks. Securing a positive score secures your rank. If you are thinking about good govt colleges and Jadavpur University, then about 2 k rank will certainly secure you a place at KGEC & JGEC where as Some highly preferred branches in JU need less than 1 k rank.
