I have got 53 in physics, 54 in chemistry and 78 in biology.. Including practicals. Am i eligible for NEET??

For NEET entrance test you need 50% marks in PCB.and you have more than that so are eligible for the entrance test.

NEET (national entrance test) is a national level exam. The minimum age limit for the is 17 and above the age of 25 can not give the entrance test.

As the eligibility criteria for the NEET 2019 regulated by NTA ( National Testing Agency) which will be on 5th May 2019

They are:

  • Qualifying exam: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board
  • Minimum age requirement:17 years as on December ,31
  • Maximum age limit :25 years ( UR ), 30 years( OBC /SC /ST/ PwD)
  • Qualifying Marks: UR -50%                   OBC /SC /ST - 40%  PwD -45%

  • Maximum attempts- no limit

You have got 61.67 % in PCB.so you are eligible for taking neet. Basic qualifiying mark for neet -

UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)

Hello aspirant,

The eligibility criteria for NEET 2019 is 50% aggregate of PCB for UR category and 45% for others.  Now since you have scored such good marks and the  total is 185 which is 61% aggregation, you are definitely eligible for NEET.
