Dear aspirant
You can appear in jee mains exam but you will not eligible for taking admission in NITs ,IITs,GFTIs.Candidates should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 75% marks or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination (65% for SC/ST candidates).
If you are State board student then you should be in 20 percentile of state board in 2019 means you came under 20% student under the state board.

Hi Ruhit!
No, it is not necessary to have 75% in your 12th Board Exams for appearing in JEE Main 2021. Because of the COVID Situation, the Board made it not necessary for students to secure 75%.
You must have passed your 12th Board Exams in either 2019 or 2020 for appearing in JEE Main! So don't worry and start preparing for it!
Hope this is helpful!
