I have got Mechanical in CET BBSR. Is there any chance for branch upgradation in college itself ?(like to Electrical or Computer Science)

Hello there,
Following are the conditions for branch change:
1. Though one is eligible to apply if he/she has a CGPA greater than 8.0 but getting CSE at this CGPA is not possible. Your CGPA should be greater than 8.9, i.e, average grade scored in both semesters.
2. The person applying should not have active back in any subject of 1st or 2nd semester.
3. Under the circumstance, if the strength of any branch falls below 10% after branch change then no more than top 10% student of that branch are allowed to change the branch.
Hence cse being the most demanded branch , your score needs to be >8.9 to stand a chance for change.

What about Electrical? How much CPGA is required for that?

The CGPA required for electrical iss less than CSE but i can't tell you the exact CGPA as there is no information on the internet about it.
