Is computer science the best branch? Are there options in hard core branches like mechanical and electrical and metallurgy ?

Hello Thomas. Well, all the branches of engineering are of equal value. But with the advent of more computer applications, computer science field seems very valuable. The applications of computer science can be seen in production, manufacturing, automobile and other core fields. But it is very necessary to have knowledge of core fields, before introducing the computer application. Hence all the fields of engineering are valuable in their own right, but the boom in technology has made it seem that computer science field is most valuable.
