i have just completed bba from college. in cat will i be treated as as fresher?
Dear Aspirant,
The exam CAT in itself doesn’t have anything to do with you being a fresher or having work-ex. That being said, colleges which consider CAT score for admissions into the different MBA programs most often do have a weightage allocated to your work-ex. However, this differs from college to college and needs to be checked before applying for the same.
Having graduated this year, the advantage of having work-ex would be the fact that you have some first-hand corporate exposure before getting into an MBA. That being said, it is perfectly fine if you don’t have any work-ex, as it won’t put you in too much of a disadvantage. However, you should be ready with answers as to what you did during the time in between graduation and joining MBA.
Cheers and all the best!
Greetings,
There is no such concept of a fresher in Post Graduation exams like CAT as such but if you want to deem it that then sure, you will be a fresher candidate in that you are recently graduated and do not have any drops or job experience.
good luck.
