I have passed ISC exam but failed in maths. So am I eligible to go for BSc chemistry
Candidates must obtain 50%-60% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Usually, the universities require only the best 4 subject marks to be included in the 50%-60%criteria, but mathematics must be one of those subjects.
In bsc you will not study only chemistry nor admissions are done on the basis of one subject.
This also depends on the college.
All the best.
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
As you will be knowing that B.Sc. Chemistry is an undergraduate level Bachelor of Science Degree course.
Basically the academic program is 3 years long. Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters. In short, the entire course consists of 6 semesters! As part of assessment, you must face examination in each semester.
Minimum Eligibility:
Minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 passed in Science stream. Minimum aggregate marks required could be anywhere between 45-60% marks. This criteria may vary from one institute to another.
As per as the above Eligibility you have top pass in maths if it is in your main subjects to pursue this course.
Thank You & All the best!
