I have SBC caste certificate and non creamy layer too then in 15%AIQ counselling or any other state counselling(for NEET) under which category will i be considered?

Hello,
If you are applying through all India quota then your all India rank is considered for the admissions in medical courses and if you are applying through the state quota then your category rank or state rank is considered.
- Category rank is the rank of a candidate which he \she filled against the column of category like GEN,OBC,SC,ST,PH etc.
- Category rank is your rank in a specific or particular category. Suppose, you have scored 100 marks out of 120 marks and your overall rank is 20 out of 120 total students it may not be the same in your category.

For competitive exams like JEE,CET,GATE,etc there are students who apply from general category,SC/ST,OBC,NT, other reserved minority students and for example you are a OBC student so out of 120 say 10 are OBC with a score of 100 you may be ranked 1 in your category,here OBC.

So overall you will be 20th ranked person but in your category you may be 1st.
