I have scored 72.2 in my 12th board exam can I give jee advance?

To be eligible for the JEE Advanced examination, the requirements are:
•Should be ranked among the top 224,000 candidates in JEE (Main).
•Age limit for candidates belonging to general category is 25 years. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the age limit is 30 years.
•Candidates should have qualified the Class 12 Board Examination with atleast 70% for the first time not more than a year before the JEE (Advanced) examination.
•Candidates should not have accepted admission in any of the IIT earlier.

According to your percentage in board exams you are not eligible to take admission in IITs through jee advanced as you have not crossed the minimum percentage criteria. But You can give exam.
The candidates will have to satisfy at least one of the following twocriteriafor admission to IITs: The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with an aggregate of at least 75% marks. For SC/ ST and PwD candidates, there is a relaxation of 10% as they need the aggregate of minimum 65% marks.
