Like for 10+2 aggregate marks the percentage which is considered for admission to colleges is the top four subject marks, and for class10 the marks considered are for the top five subjects which are then the main subjects and the final percentage.

It depends on which counseling you are attending if you are attending engineering counseling PCM marks are considered for NEET focus is on PCB and English percentage are considered.By the way its either 75% or top 20 percentile for some counseling like JEE.For different exams different criterias are required.
